We were also treated to an insightful speech from Martyn Jenkins, Managing Director of NORQAIN UK&I, and Gary Neville, Partner at NORQAIN UK&I. 

Together, they took us through the journey of NORQAIN, sharing what initially attracted them to the brand, its unique position within the watch industry, and the story behind Gary’s partnership with NORQAIN.

During the conversation, Martyn asked Gary about his experience of joining the NORQAIN board and working alongside both the NORQAIN UK&I and global teams.

Gary explained how different the experience has been from his other ventures across real estate, media, sport and university education. He was particularly drawn to NORQAIN’s independent, family-owned nature and its distinctive approach to watchmaking.

“You sometimes go into a watch shop, and you think everything sort of merges into one. You know, a lot of the watches look the same. And I saw the Wild ONE, the turquoise one. It was the first one that I saw and the first one I wore. I just thought that's very different, and it's something that, you know, we're in the north of England. You need to brighten up sometimes, don't you?”
