Orders & Contract Formation

All orders placed with Lister Horsfall are subject to acceptance.

A legally binding contract is formed only when your order has been confirmed and accepted by us. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order where necessary, including but not limited to:

  • Product unavailability
  • Errors in pricing or product information
  • Concerns regarding payment or fraudulent activity

If payment has already been taken for an order that is subsequently cancelled, a full refund will be issued promptly.

Product Information & Pricing

We take great care to ensure that all product descriptions, images and pricing are accurate and up to date.

However, errors may occasionally occur. In such cases, we reserve the right to:

  • Correct any inaccuracies
  • Cancel affected orders
  • Offer a full refund where applicable

Where a pricing error is obvious and unmistakable, we are not obliged to fulfil the order at the incorrect price.

Availability

All products are subject to availability.

Certain items, including bespoke pieces or products sourced directly from suppliers, may be subject to extended lead times. Where this applies, we will communicate expected timescales as clearly as possible.

Delivery

Delivery times may vary depending on product availability and supplier lead times.

We aim to dispatch all in-stock items promptly. For items requiring ordering or production, estimated delivery times will be provided at the point of purchase.

Lister Horsfall cannot be held responsible for delays outside of our control, including those caused by couriers or external suppliers.

Click & Collect

Where available, click and collect orders can be collected from our Halifax or Ilkley showrooms.

You will be notified when your order is ready for collection. Please bring proof of purchase and identification when collecting your item.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to feel completely confident in your purchase.

Online Purchases

  • Items may be returned within 14 days of receipt for a refund or exchange 
  • Items must be returned in their original condition, including packaging and documentation 
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method 

In-Store Purchases

  • Exchanges are available within 14 days of purchase 
  • Refunds are only offered on items that are faulty or not as described 

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are excluded from return or exchange unless faulty:

  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons) 
  • Bespoke or custom-made pieces 
  • Engraved or personalised items 
  • Items that have been resized or altered 

Faulty or Incorrect Items

Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected.

If an item is found to be faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with your legal rights.

Lister Horsfall offers a range of jewellery and watch services, including repairs, resizing and restoration.

  • All work is carried out with the utmost care and professionalism
  • Estimates will be provided where possible prior to work commencing
  • Timeframes may vary depending on the nature of the work

While every effort is made to ensure the safe handling of all items, customers are advised to ensure appropriate insurance is in place where necessary.

Additional Services

V12 Finance

  • Lister Horsfall Limited is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and is the broker and not the lender. Our firm reference number is 740594. Lister Horsfall Limited offers credit products from Secure Trust Bank PLC trading as V12 Retail Finance. Credit is provided subject to affordability, age and status. Minimum spend applies.
  • If you are dissatisfied with our response and your agreement is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, you have the right to refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service, free of charge, but you must do so within six months of the date of the final response or 8 week holding letter. If you are not entirely happy with your recent experience, please raise a complaint by contacting any member of our Team on info@listerhorsfall.co.uk or 01422 355304. We aim to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible and if we are able to resolve your complaint within 14 working days, we will send you a final response detailing our resolution. If we are unable to provide you with a final response within 14 working days, we will send you a letter explaining the reason for delay and when we expect to issue you with a final response.

Safe Deposit Boxes

Lister Horsfall offers secure safe deposit box services in our Halifax and Ilkley showrooms.

This service is subject to separate terms and availability.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

They must be used within any stated validity period.

Promotions & Sale Items

Promotional offers and sale items are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time.

Sale items may include ex-display pieces and may show minor signs of wear. These do not affect the quality or authenticity of the item.

Offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
