Returns Policy – Online Purchases
We understand that sometimes you may change your mind. That’s why we offer a 14-day full refund or exchange policy on online orders.
How to Return Your Order
You can return your item using one of the following methods:
1. Return to Store
Visit our Halifax or Ilkley showroom, and a member of our team will assist with your return or exchange.
2. Return by Post
- Complete our online Returns Form
- Package your item securely, including proof of purchase and any certificates.
- Send your return for the attention of:

We recommend using Royal Mail Special Delivery and insuring your parcel for its full value. You are responsible for the item until it is safely received by Lister Horsfall.
To qualify for a refund:
- The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and returned with proof of purchase and any certificates.
- We will refund the purchase price
Important: We will cover the return postage cost. To claim this refund, please contact us at info@listerhorsfall.com with your return postage receipt.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase
We also offer exchanges within 14 days from dispatch.
Exclusions
The following cannot be returned unless faulty:
- Earrings (due to hygiene reasons)
- Items that have been personalised, engraved, resized, or custom made
Returns Processing
- Refunds may take up to 14 days to process once we’ve received your return.
- If we need to contact you to complete your return and are unable to reach you within 14 days, we’ll return the item to your original delivery address.
Faulty Items
You have statutory rights if an item is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose. These apply to all purchase methods.
Your Rights
- Within 30 days of delivery: You are entitled to a full refund.
- After 30 days and up to 6 months: You are entitled to a repair or replacement. If this isn’t possible, you may be entitled to a full or partial refund.
- After 6 months: You may still be eligible, but you must prove the fault existed at the time of purchase. Refunds at this stage may be adjusted to reflect fair use.
Important: Please ensure any smart devices (e.g. smartwatches) are factory reset and all personal data is removed before returning.
Sale Items
Terms & Conditions
At Lister Horsfall, we are proud to offer exceptional value on selected sale pieces. Please take a moment to review the following terms and conditions before purchasing any sale items.
1. Condition of Sale Items
- Some sale items may be ex-display or previously handled in our showrooms.
- As a result, these items may show minor signs of wear, such as light surface marks or micro-scratches.
- Any imperfections are purely cosmetic and do not affect the performance, quality, or authenticity of the item.
- The sale price reflects the condition of the piece and offers significant value accordingly.
- We encourage customers to inspect sale items in person, where possible, before making a purchase.
2. Availability & Sizing
- Sale items are often available in limited sizes and quantities.
- Ring sizing may not always be possible on sale pieces due to design constraints. Where resizing is available, a charge may apply.
- Lister Horsfall cannot guarantee alternative sizes or replacements for sale items.
3. Returns & Exchanges
- Sale items are eligible for a refund, exchange, or store credit.
4. Faulty Items
- Your statutory rights remain unaffected. If an item is found to be faulty, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund in line with consumer protection laws.
In-Store Purchases
Items purchased in-store can be exchanged within 14 days, but no refunds will be offered unless the item is faulty.
Please bring the item in original condition and packaging, along with your receipt to one of our showrooms, where it will be processed according to our Terms & Conditions.
We cannot accept returns of:
- Earrings
- Items that have been personalised, altered, or custom made
