Viky Rader was born in Ukraine and worked as a model for the biggest fashion brands. Today she lives with her large family in Munich, where she founded the brand Viky Rader Studio with the mission to make the fashion world sustainable.
What do you look for in a piece of jewellery?
I usually look for more understated pieces. If I choose something flashy it’s for the evening, when I dare with bolder, stronger pieces like a nice necklace, big earrings or a ring that stands out. You have to be careful though, because like clothes, jewellery can add a touch of class or become excessive.
How do you see the future of fashion?
To use a well-known expression, I would say “Less is more”, or at least that is what I expect. People are rethinking what they want, what they need or what they think is necessary. I think there will be a lot of changes and I am very excited about that. Viky Rader Studio is part of this future.
What is luxury?
For me it is an attitude. It doesn’t just mean buying expensive clothes, bags or accessories. Luxury is an attitude that is reflected in the way you live, eat, think.
